So our lecturers are always talking about the connections between fashion and the wider world like architecture and interiors. A few things that have caught my eye while rummaging around on the internet (recent fav being Top 50 Hotels In The World. Hello summer) is that the fashion designer Patricia Urquiola has made her mark on the new W Hotel Viegues Island, one of the Spanish Virgin Islands located in the southeast coast of Puerto Rico renownd for its white sands and azure-coloured waters.

Also designer Mary Katrantzou has taken a very literal approach to linking fashion with interior designs as the S/S collection features dresses printed with rooms and house hold objects.
